ORLANDO, Fla. -- The attorney of Lee Anthony said he is exiting the case as his "representation is no longer necessary."

Anthony's sister Casey Anthony is charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of her daughter, Caylee. After eight hours of deposition, Tom Luka said Anthony "spilled it all and nothing was different."

As a result of his testimony, Luka said Lee Anthony has what's called "use immunity" from prosecution, though he said Anthony never did anything to warrant being charged in connection with the case.

What's up with Lee Anthony and his deposition?

"Lee Anthony isn't done yet. Yesterday, he spent nine hours in the hot seat at the state attorney's office," WESH-Channel 2 anchor Scott Walker reported at noon today.

Tom Luka, Lee's attorney, told reporters that his client would make a statement after the deposition is completed.

Judge Refuses To Speed Up Casey’s Civil Trial

In the civil case against Casey Anthony, on Thursday a judge denied a request by Zenaida Gonzalez's attorneys to move up some hearings that are currently scheduled for September.

Those hearings will deal with three issues: trying to get Casey to identify Gonzalez as the woman she claimed was her nanny, getting George Anthony to answer questions he refused to answer during his first deposition and getting private investigator, Dominic Casey to answer questions under oath.

Thomas Luka said he was retained to help protect Lee Anthony's rights while detectives investigated the death of his niece, Caylee Marie, whose remains were found in December in woods less than a mile from her family home.

Prosecutors questioned Lee Anthony under oath Thursday at the State Attorney's Office. Luka said they finished interviewing Anthony and dont' need him to answer anymore questions.

Therefore, Luka's role in the case has come to an end, he said. If something comes up and Lee Anthony needs an attorney again, Luka would return.

He may help Lee Anthony in the civil case against his sister. Attorneys for the woman suing Casey Anthony for defamation may want Lee Anthony and his family to answer questions they initially balked out during their depositions.

Casey Anthony: Lee 'spilled it all,' attorney tells WESH

Lee Anthony "spilled it all" in a sworn deposition this week, his attorney told WESH-Channel 2 today.

He is the brother of Casey Anthony, who is charged with the murder of her daughter, Caylee.

Lee Anthony's deposition means that previous statements he made won't be used against him, the attorney told WESH's Bob Kealing.

Evidently, that won't be a problem because nothing Lee said was different from his previous testimony, Anthony's attorney, Tom Luka, told the station. (But no one from the state was quoted in the report.)

At 5, Kealing examined the defense team's taking two dozen items -- such as books, toys and a toothbrush -- from the Anthony home in September for testing. Defense attorney Jose Baez dismissed the notion that his team had withheld evidence. (The defense team gave the items to investigators in December.) Baez spokeswoman Marti Mackenzie said it was "good, solid defense strategy."

"The last thing that would come to my mind would be that this is 100 percent ethical," analyst Hornsby told Kealing. Rather, Baez should have warned the state when he took the items, Hornsby said. "He had a duty to put the state on notice," Hornsby said.

Casey's ex-fiancé caught up in case

Across the country people can't get enough of the case against Casey Anthony case. One person dragged into the whole mess is her ex-fiancé Jesse Grund who has had to answer a slew of questions he probably never imagined.

"This is unbelievable," Richard Grund said as he thumbed through is son Jesse's 696 page personnel file from when he was an Orlando Police officer. State prosecutors just released it as discovery in the murder case against Casey Anthony. "What does his high school and college transcripts have to do with this?" asked Grund. Those are in there along with Jesse's credit report and every review and call he responded to as an OPD officer. "He came forward, did everything he was supposed to do and this was his reward."

But Richard Grund says he understands his son was a city employee and different rules apply to them than those in private industry. But Grund believes Florida's broad Government in the Sunshine laws need to be tweaked for certain situations. So Monday, he'll be contacting lawmakers asking them to toughen up the laws.
