GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Willimantic family saved three relatives who had been kidnapped in Texas, police said.
Police said several people were kidnapped as part of a human trafficking ring in Texas. Greenwich police were contacted by members of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, alerting them that the kidnappers and the victims were traveling in a blue van to Willimantic.
The victims were being taken to Willimantic for ransom, police said.

Yay for these family members. Great job as far as I am concerned, if more people started defending themselves I feel criminals would think twice before attempting such carp..What lies behind you and what lies in front of you pales in comparison to what lies inside of you....

They really need to look into these sex rings, there is a huge number of young women missing from Texas and the lower Midwest states.
Good job for the family, showing up with baseball bats instead of cash! That must have threw the kidnappers for a loop!"The cure for crime is not the electric chair, but the high chair."

I think they need to look deeper into these too. I bet that so many of our young missing girls are forced into this and then by the time they can get away they dont even want to anymore because that is their lifestyle and they may be ashamed. it is really scary to think about.

This story is a little confusing, but I didn't take it to mean a sex trafficking ring. It sounds more like illegals in Texas who were kidnapped and ransom demanded by their family in Connecticut, possibly also illegals. Texas has kidnappings like in Mexico with ransoms demanded.
