MS - Shirley Bertucci, 87, Hancock County, 3 Aug 2009 - Mild Dementia
4 Aug 09
Authorities are seeking help in a search for an 87-year-old woman who has been missing since Monday.
Shirley Bertucci, a white female, was last seen when she left her home in the Kiln-DeLisle Road area around noon Monday, Sheriff's Investigator John Bunce said.
The woman was last seen driving her own car, a silver 2002 Chrysler 300 M. The Mississippi license tag number is KAG 305.
Bunce said Bertucci was reported missing by family members. He said she is in fairly good health, but reportedly suffers from “on-again, off-again” mild dementia.
Bunce is asking anyone with knowledge of Bertucci's whereabouts to contact him at 466-6900.
“She might be visiting friends or relatives, or she might just be lost,” he said. “We don't know at this point.”
