AZ - Brady Travis, 6, Flagstaff, 9 Aug 2009
Very little information right now. Oddly the local NPR broadcaster announced this 10 mins before the official alert.
According to the alert I just listened to, there is a custody dispute and the father failed to return Brady last night. He called police this morning and threatened harm to himself and to Brady. Alert is statewide, but especially in the northern area of the state, Bullhead City, Flagstaff, Cape Verde.
FLAGSTAFF -- An Amber Alert has been issued for a 6-year-old boy who was abducted by his father in Flagstaff.
According to police, this involves a custody dispute.
The father, Michael Travis, 49, was supposed to return the boy to his mother at 7 p.m. Sunday, but he did not show up.
Travis reportedly called the Flagstaff Police Department and threatened to kill the child and himself.
Police say they have not been seen in five days.

Flagstaff boy abducted by father found safe
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - An Amber Alert for a 6-year-old Flagstaff boy has been canceled after he was found safe.
Flagstaff police say Brady Travis was abducted by his father, 50-year-old Michael Scott Travis.
The Mohave County Sheriff's Office found the two in a home there, and the boy was released unharmed after a short negotiation.
