State police at Newport said they are looking for a Perry County woman who has been missing since Thursday.

Sherie Lee Deardorff-Buck, 47, of Saville Township is believed to have been in the Lower Allen Township area the afternoon she went missing. She was last at her residence that day.

At the time of her disappearance, Deardorff-Buck was driving a red Ford Focus station wagon with a large black rottweiler inside.

Here is a photo. I know this lady. She's very trusting and a bit naive. Very nice. Someone could have seen her with Romulus (her Rottweiler) and lured her away with a plea to help catch or find a lost pet.

Missing Woman's Body Found, Husband Charged with Murder

Newport, Pa. - State police say they have found the body of a Perry County woman who was reported missing last week and have filed murder charges against her husband.

Police said they served a search warrant at the Saville Township home of Sherie Lee Deardorff-Buck on Wednesday morning. As a result of the search warrant, troopers located a female body on the property at [REDACTED] Honeysuckle Road, according to a news release. The body was identified as Deardorff-Buck.

Perry County Chief Deputy Corner Mike Hoak pronounced Deardorff-Buck deceased at 10:47 a.m. . .

Perry County Coroner Mike Shalonis said the body was found about 75 feet from the home and showed an "obvious sign" of the cause of death, but did not disclose what that sign was. . .

Court documents in the case indicated Deardorff-Buck had threatened to divorce her husband after he was fired from his job for stealing...

Buck will be eligible for parole after 30 years.
