That'd be good news. Lets hope so.

While U.S. prisons are overflowing there should be punisment to fit the crime and those who obstruct and/or pervert justice should face legal penalty. Without accountability and penalties it becomes even harder for justice given the latitude afforded the defense and perp.

There needs to be more rights for the victim and jeopardy for those who intervene. Cross the line.

BTW. I have family that lives in Croxteth, Liverpool. Small world.

    From November 2009:

    http://www.clickliverpool.com/news/l...on-inmate.html

The murderer of Liverpool schoolboy Rhys Jones has been placed in solitary confinement after stabbing another inmate at a young offenders' institute...

Mercer, who is serving a life sentence for gunning down schoolboy Rhys in Croxteth two years ago, had held the weapon together with tape whilst a fellow inmate held down Fahri, leaving the 19-year-old covered in blood and requiring hospital treatment.
    From April 2014:

    http://www.itv.com/news/update/2014-...f-gang-member/

Rhys was just 11 when he was gunned down by 16-year-old Sean Mercer on his way home from football practice in Croxteth, Liverpool, in 2007.

James Yates, who was given a 12-year sentence in 2009 for his role in the murder after he supplied the gun used by the shooter, left jail at Haverigg, Cumbria, on Thursday...

Everton-mad Rhys was the innocent victim of a violent turf war between Liverpool street gangs.
    From June 2014:

    http://www.essexchronicle.co.uk/Seco...ail/story.html

Paul Alexander, 58, admitted conspiracy to supply firearms with intent to endanger life at Woolwich Crown Court last Wednesday and was sentenced to 16 years in prison on Friday...

A former Royal Engineer, he used his military expertise to become one of Britain's most infamous illegal firearms dealers. He ran his multimillion pound operation from his luxury 2.5m listed mansion farmhouse in Plums Lane, in the village of Bardfield Saling...

He was first arrested in 2008 after police found his DNA on weapons used by a member of the Croxteth Crew gang during the shooting of 11-year-old schoolboy Rhys Jones in Liverpool. However, police believe the arms had been used in hundreds of robberies and killings including a murder in Birmingham, four attempted murders, nine shootings and an armed robbery.
