What is "Motion In Limine"?
Answer:
A motion made before a trial begins, asking the court to decide whether particular evidence will be admissible. A motion in limine is most often made to exclude evidence by a party who believes that evidence would prejudice the jury against him or her. For example, a defendant in a criminal trial might make a motion in limine to exclude evidence of previous crimes.

New motions filed by Casey Anthony's legal team include getting her upcoming check fraud trial moved out of Orange County.

Her lawyers also want to issue a written questionnaires to potential jurors and allow attorneys to interview potential jurors individually rather than in a group.

Attorneys Jose Baez and Andrea Lyon have filed a change of venue motion for the upcoming check fraud trial, which they said could come by the end of the month. They want the case moved to Miami-Dade, Palm Beach or Broward counties.

The fraud trial could be scheduled at a Friday hearing, WFTV-Channel 9 anchor Barbara West noted.

"The defense is also asking that each potential juror be questioned individually so they can't hear the others called for jury duty," West said. "They also don't want the jurors hearing her check-fraud case to hear any of the evidence that comes out publicly in her murder case."
