Except for the weight issue, looks great to me. I don't think the guy only weighed 350 though from his photo. I'd say it was more like 400lbs with his height. I know someone 5'8" at 350 lbs. and his face looks about like the missing guy's so that's why I'm thinking Philbert's weight was closer to 400lbs.

If the guy was transient and broke, he could have dropped the weight pretty quickly. The eyebrows are really off though, now that I've rechecked the photos, but is that a big enough concern? Your call, Snuf!

Johns chin seems to be a little more upturned, but that could be the angle that his picture was taken at.
The eyebrows seem to be different, but the reconstructions eyebrows just seem to be weird in general. Like depth wise it makes it hard to tell the set of the eyes.

The hairline is very striking to me. I think the hairlines are identical in John's picture and the reconstruction.
I would say the ears are similar, but the only similar thing is that you can't see the ears at all on either! I'll call that similar by default.
The set of the lower lip is very similar.

Overall, I'd call it in, or email it in. There are discrepancies, but nothing that rules John out, IMO.

Philbert's worth and email to the NamUs case manager. Since the MP isn't in NamUs, and I'm pretty sure his disappearance wouldn't have grabbed any headlines, they can decide if he is worth looking into further.

And so it is done.

John Charles Philbert has been ruled out as NamUs Case#6013.

I do have a little more info on the decedant. He had advanced cancer and is a possible suicide.
