I think this girl is in some serious danger.
Father looks (and acts) like my ex.
I'm not projecting here, I can get past the physical resemblance, it's the behavioral resemblance that bothers me.

http://www.journaltribune.com/articl...b021310572.txtTraynham was arrested on a warrant Oct. 26 charging he negotiated a worthless instrument – a bad check. Connolly said Traynham has some traffic infractions and that police had been called to the residence that day for domestic issues, but at that time, the disputes were not physical in nature.
“There were domestic disagreements, but nothing like this,” said Connolly.

Maine Girl Found Safe In Milton; Hunter Recognized Pickup Truck
Michael Grant first shared his story with News 9 on Tuesday, detailing the long and emotional conversation he had with Traynham before the father agreed to turn himself in to police.
Grant said he was running late and didn't set out to go hunting until after 2 p.m. When he ventured into a wooded area off Middleton Road, he said he spotted a pickup truck matching the description in Maine's first Amber Alert issued after the girl's alleged abduction.
Grant said he knew the truck was the one from the Amber Alert that he saw on News 9 on Monday night. He had memorized the license plate, which was still on the truck. At that moment, he decided to go have a talk with Traynham, man to man.
much more here
Mr. Grant was this girl's guardian angel! He should be commended for his act of concern and bravery (to approach this man)!
Very heartfelt prayers to all involved!
Awesome job, Michael Grant!
I am so glad that there was someone around that actually had a pair. Waiting for the police to intervene would have taken long enough that he might have taken off again.
And another much needed good ending for the Amber Alert.

Like the rest of you I think Mr. Grant is a hero-he did the right thing in reaching out.

ALFRED -- Lisa Gould told a judge Thursday that she believed she would die at the hands of her ex-boyfriend on the morning of Nov. 9, 2009.
Gould said Gary Traynham was drunk when he ambushed her in her Sanford apartment. She claims he raped her, choked her and abducted their 2-year-old daughter, triggering Maine's first Amber Alert.
