Go to "thread tools" It is at the top of this "blue box" we're reading in
click on it
click on "printable version"
then click on 1,000 posts
you can read faster and get caught up easier, I've found
Just a tip another WSer showed me when the thread moves too fast, or you have been at work and cant read all day LOL

I can't listen to that call again. I would rather dismember myself with a spork than listen to her pathetic lies.

I just posted this on the other thread but then it closed right under my post....so I'm reposting here :)

Well I'm sure they had to wait until they had a positive ID on her in order to file murder charges. So now we can expect to see that happen any time. But will it be MAM, or he and AD, or could there still be someone else that the police have not let slip yet? If that information about where her body was came from MAM then probably not....but we don't know WHO it actually came from. Was the 60 y/o man a red herring or does he exist?

I just can't get past the fact that MAM took her to a motel at all. This is what boggles my mind, unless there was another party involved. And I don't believe he checked in to the motel. It seems to me if he had checked IN, they would be saying he checked IN at so and so time and they'd have pictures at the front desk, etc. Intead, all they have is video of him carrying her in and out, and the information that they were "spotted" there. So to me that indicates he came into the motel and headed straight for the elevator to a room that was already waiting. So SOMEONE else is involved...who rented that room?

And I've said this before but again, if it were just MAM she was 'sold' to and didn't go any farther up than him, why on EARTH bother with a MOTEL, which costs money and also carries the risk of being discovered. If it was a matter of just him 'buying' her for his OWN use (sheesh....puking to even write that) surely he'd have gone somewhere like out in the woods or to an abandoned building or something and been done w/ it.

Truly, everything smells like there really IS at least one other person involved with this.

Heck, she was downright composed wasnt she?

A week after a 5-year-old Fayetteville girl disappeared and a day after her body was found near Sanford, police are still trying to sort out the evidence in the case to determine who to charge in her death.

Lee County authorities have referred all questions to the Fayetteville Police Department. The department has a news briefing scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, but it's unclear whether new charges will be announced then.

More charges expected in North Carolina girl's death
November 17, 2009 1:09 p.m. EST

Charges will be made public as soon as they are filed, police said. A media briefing is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Last Tuesday, Davis reported Shaniya missing from their home in a mobile home park. According to police, surveillance video taken that day from a hotel in Sanford shows Shaniya in the company of McNeill.

"The investigation at this point indicates that Shaniya Davis was alive at the time she left the Sanford hotel," police said in the statement Tuesday.

Searcher describes where NC girl's body was found

A dog trainer who helped look for a missing North Carolina 5-year-old says searchers overlooked it at first because all they saw were deer carcasses in trash bags.

But Jeff Riccio of Tarheel Canine Training Inc. said Tuesday his team returned after getting information that the body of Shaniya (shuh-NY-ah) Davis might be near the carcasses. The searchers found the body Monday afternoon underneath kudzu along a rural highway southeast of Sanford.

Shaniya Davis Story: 5-Year-Old Abused By Mother, Found Dead In North Carolina

Searchers found Shaniya Davis' body early Monday afternoon about 100 feet off a road southeast of Sanford, in central North Carolina, Fayetteville Police spokeswoman Theresa Chance said. She declined to comment on a cause of death or the condition of Shaniya's body.

Two people have been charged in her disappearance, one of them her mother, Antoinette Davis, 25. Police charged Davis with human trafficking and felony child abuse, saying Shaniya was offered for prostitution.

Davis was calm and quiet during a five-minute court appearance in Fayetteville on Monday afternoon. She provided one-word answers to the judge's questions and held her hands in front of her, without handcuffs. She requested a court-appointed attorney and did not enter a plea.

The body found yesterday in Sanford, North Carolina was positively identified today as Shaniya Davis. An autopsy is currently underway and a cause of death has yet to be released. Shaniya Davis remembered in Candlelight Vigils
November - 17 - 2009
<snipped>
A vigil for Shaniya Davis was held outside of Swann Station Baptist Church, located in Sanford, North Carolina. There were several hundred mourners in attendance, each bringing cards, toys, and other gifts to show support and love for Shaniya. Mourners held candles and sang hymns, tears streamed down cheeks as many looked to God for strength and comfort. It was in Sanford, North Carolina where Shaniya Davis’ body was found today.

In Fayetteville, North Carolina, another candlelight vigil was held in honor of Shaniya Davis. This vigil was attended by Shaniya’s father, Bradley Lockhart. His pain and grief were clear as he spoke with eyes lifted towards the heavens, “Don’t give up on me and don’t give up on Shaniya. She’s up there with you. Just knowing my little baby is up there with you is giving me comfort right now.”

How do we know Coe has HIV? I hadn't heard this before.

Would the posters that posted the lyrics of the two songs, repost them here?

Pretty please?

TIA,

On the topic of the Fayetteville prosecutor...

I have a feeling this will become so "public" that it will be moved out of Cumberland County.

Also, I worry, because the further east you go in this state sometimes, the more it reminds me of the Reba McEntire song "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia"

(I can say this because I live here, but I love it:)

Where did the couch thing come in, that wasn't on the call?
She said she put her back to bed at 5:30, but I guess she put her back to couch instead. I am getting the feeling that was her bed. Regardless of Coe, forgetting him for now.
First it was 530 the night before, or 530 in the morning and, wow, did her composure come back fast when called on to describe the underwear. She really needed to tone it down in the beginning, you are supposed to calm to get the needed info out, then you fake the hysteria as the call goes on. Didn't she read her fake kidnapping manual?

Silly, silly pathetic evil creature.

I went on HLN and its still reads...
Shaniya's body likely found:
More charges expected

Still havent officially confirmed it's her body.

I hope we get a forum soon.......I think with this case we will need one soon!
Thanks Mods

Don't know if this has been posted yet but it answers some questions as to who will be prosecuting this case...

No decision has been made as to who will investigate the child's death, the release said.

Jurisdiction is determined by the location where the crime is committed, the release said.

That could put the death investigation into the hands of the Lee County Sheriff's Office or the Sanford Police Department.

But a source at the Lee County Sheriff's Office said today that Fayetteville will be handling the case.

The case can be considered a continuous series of acts that originated in Fayetteville, giving the Police Department jurisdiction.
