Tom Brokaw In NYC Highway Crash

Tom Brokaw Involved In NYC Highway Crash
Former news anchor Tom Brokaw and his wife were involved in an accident in New York on Friday afternoon, but neither were injured in the crash that left one person dead and another injured.

CBS station WCBS-TV's chopper was over the scene on the Bruckner Expressway near Sheridan Ave. around 1 p.m. when the accident happened. Officials said a woman's SUV hit a postal service truck in the eastbound lanes, then flipped over.

The woman was thrown from the vehicle and landed on the ground below the highway, where she was pronounced dead. The postal truck driver was pushed onto the concrete divider, and was then rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

The Brokaws were driving in the lane that the postal truck drove into, and wound up striking the truck.

Very very very sad. Thank goodness the Brokaws are alright. My prayers and thoughts go out to the family of the woman who was killed. How sad.

My condolences to the family, first of all. But to think that Tom Brokaw could have been the main headline for the next few days. That is so scary. I'm sure he must be so upset today even though it wasn't his fault. But to think it could have been him or his wife. I'm glad Tom and his wife are o.k.
It's almost been a year since we did our last show.Jay Bush my partner has been auditioning for the show Shark Tank and so this has put the show on hold. If he gets on Shark Tank, we will be terribly delayed. Good luck Jay. Either way we will one day continue the show and have the coolest global independent radio station out there. This is just a small video we did with one of our artists.Waiting for One and their tune 35 years. Check it out.
