Haleigh's family had a vigil for her this week and I thought it was time that we have an online vigil for her also. I'm not sure if we've done that in Haleigh's forum before, but we did in Lindsey Baum's and it touched us very much.

Where are you, Haleigh? We want you to come home!
 
I know that you are out there
no one fully disappears.
I wish that I could find you
and wipe away your tears.

But I cannot do that yet
and so I sit and pray.
"Lord, please bring back Haleigh
Let this be the day."

And now the days are shorter
and the wind is blowing cold.
I pray that you are safe at night
and have a hand to hold.

I pray that hand that holds you
will someday send you home.
And the hands that will receive you then
will never let you roam.

You are out there somewhere
be it near or far away.
I will keep on looking
and always I will pray...

Such beuatiful poems, prayers and thoughts.
We as WS members have fallen in love with Haleigh.
She is on our thoughts daily as are so many victims.

Its my Birthday today and I think everyone can guess what my wish is. My thoughts and prayers are with Haleigh and her family.

A precious little angel can not be found
Those who love her have let her down
Haleigh was just six years old a few months ago
What could she have done for someone to treat her so

A life that had just begun
A life full of laughter, toys and fun
Is now a life that is in jeopardy
A life that we hope has not been taken away from little Haleigh

She is such an innocent, pure of heart, little one
Who had no idea of what was to come
We can only hope and pray
That she is safe somewhere and alive today

All that matters right now
Is not just to find out who, what and how
But to find Haleigh and bring her home
So she will no longer be out there all alone

These are all so precious! My prayer is that she comes home and we can send her these thoughts, prayers and poems! :grouphug:

The Light of Love
flickers and burns

we trust and believe
in all that is good

People are good
so our God says so

We will be good
and show a light

unto a Path
that brings our loved ones home~~~

Without the Light, where shall I go? Without love, why should I care?

I'm not good at poems, but I do have a note.
Dearest, sweet HaLeigh,
Baby girl you captured my heart the first time I ever saw and heard about you. I think of you everyday and pray you can come home soon. I know your family misses you terribly and they love you more than you will ever know. They will never give up the fight and neither will the people that have come to love you all over the country. Just keep holding on sweet girl, we are going to find you. With All my heart! ♥

Please remember that Haleigh Cummings is still missing as Christmas draws near. Please if you office can help or assist in bring her home, we pray that you will help her family and all the people who have grown to love this sweet child.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Safe New Year.

Please join me by sending him a card. I got the idea from a caller, phoning in to ask us to do this on a radio show.... who ever you were, thank you, great idea.

I will be sending a flyer and card, along with a note every week to his office until she is found. That is my vigil! Amen!
 
For Haleigh's family

Dear Lord,

Our hearts have been broken,
There are no words to be spoken,
And my soul is in an hour of great need.

So I pray everyday for the healing of this heart,
That the Spirit of the Lord will hold it apart,
From the things that are making it bleed.

I ask for delivery from the anger and the grief,
And this feeling of overwhelming despair.
Fill me with the knowledge of Your joy and Your love,
Trusting Your love will always be there.

Teach me to love with a much purer heart,
So the Spirit can reveal unto me,
The place she was taken,
My faith remains unshaken,
return my Haleigh to me.
