scary stuff, Idaho -- for the missing boy & his family, plus the community....can't think of a good thing that could come from him running off w/ a gun.

ETA: I'm kinda wondering if he was being bullied...given he left w/ the gun after he got home from school.

That's kind of what I was thinking, Texas. I'm praying that he didn't take the gun to commit suicide, or to take revenge on any bullies. Praying he is found soon.

    So sad.
When I read that he left with a gun, I was afraid for him.

Supposedly a good kid with no problems.
But 12, pre teen, or tween as they say now,
can run into all sorts of issues.

I wish you could have stayed Michael
and not taken this drastic step.

You are now in the arms of the angels.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael's death. Many young teens feel that there is no way out of problems. I wonder if there were any warning signs observed by anyone or if it was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
    My condolences to the family.
