AZ - Man cuts girlfriend's finger off
The 40 something, Ronald Olivier sliced his girlfriends finger off with a sword and threatened to kill her. He also threatened then to kill his own mother.
Police showed up on a domestic dispute call and were flagged down by this guy's mom while the bleeding girlfriend hid at a neighbors home.
Man, I'd be hiding too. Nutter.

I hope they can take his fingerprints and DNA to compare to unsolved murders/mutilations in the area.

This is even weirder. The guy forced his girlfriend to allow him to chop off her finger as a trust issue. The dude put her hand on something and sliced off part of her pinkey.
Now if that ain't true love what is? This poor lady. Can you imagine having that dude say "Honey, show you trust me while I grab my sword".
Scarry, scarry world.
