TN - Girl, 9, almost abducted on post

The U.S. Army's Criminal Investigation Division is requesting information and offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the man, who they said is black and has a gold or discolored tooth, is balding and has a pierced right ear.
The man was driving a blue, two-door sedan with black rims. The car had a 6-inch dent on the passenger door and chrome molding on both sides, according to the CID information.

The Clarksville Police Department received the information from CID and distributed it within the department and to the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.

The incident occurred Dec 7 on Ft. Campbell Army Base near Clarksville TN.
A nine-year-old girl was the intended victim.

Im surprised this was reported "off base" as FYI:
Registered sex offenders are allowed to live on military bases.Also there is nothing stopping them (or anybody with a valid D/L)from getting in(pretty much).
Back when I first joined W/S I was an Army wife & Campbell was the first base I lived on.
Parents are very,very,VERY lax with their children on base as its considered "safe"(it doesn't help that crimes arent reported accurately so it skews the statistics & helps lull residents into a further false sense of security).
