MS - Kevin D. Broome, 27, Lamar County, Oct 2009
31 Dec 09
The Lamar County Sheriff's Department has issued a missing person's report for Kevin D. Broome.
Broome, 27, was last seen in late October near a wooded area off Johnson Circle, a few miles north of Old Highway 11.
"He wandered off, and hasn't been seen since," Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel said. "We've interviewed people who had last seen him, done searches throughout that area, but we're kind of at wit's end here, and we're hoping by doing this, that maybe someone will have some information that we haven't talked to."
Anyone with information can call the Lamar County Sheriff's Department at 794-3565 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 582-7866.

Remains ID'd as missing man
January 27, 2010
The human remains found near Purvis early Friday have been identified as those of a man missing since October, said Lamar County Sheriff Danny Rigel.
The identity was made through a dental record examination Monday and was confirmed to be Kevin Broome, 27, of Lamar County. Broome was reported missing in late October. His family has been notified, Rigel said.
Rest in Peace Kevin.
