They are saying that police have cleared out the building employees. They are reporting that the police believe he is in a building and they are doing a room by room search for him.
 
One person is confirmed dead in the shooting, another is in critical condition and a third is in serious condition, according to St. Louis Police Chief Dennis Jenkerson. The scene of the shooting is ABB Power, an electrical parts manufacturing plant near I-70 and Bircher. The interstate is closed at Bircher and drivers are being routed around the area.

40 employees were in the building according to N4 Awake
 
According to scanner, some employee's are still inside.
 
They believe all employees are accounted for and safe....according to N4 awake
 
Confusion....lol. Just repeating what I'm hearing on the scanner.
 
The suspect is not in custody and it is not clear where the suspect is, his truck however is not present at the facility.
 
Preparing to allow entry for the Red Cross and Salvation Army to assist evacuated employees. Scanner feed

2 Paramedics have entered the building, must be a secure area inside for paramedics to enter. The gunman is rumored to be dead by a self inflicted gunshot.

ETA - by the activities such as support people - Red Cross and paramedics - this tends to support the gunman is dead or no longer in the area..
 
MSHP continues to have I-70 closed and is in constant patrol of the area on an APB for the 2001 Nissan truck. There is activity in Webster Groves, the area where the suspect lives.
