Did KC seem "happy" at the end of this? She's a convicted felon now and she's smiling and nodding at AL. Unbelievable. I can't take much more of this and can't understand why everything takes so long to get underway as far as a trial is concerned.

I was thinking Andrea should be careful with her facial expressions. I'm no body language expert but she does not look confident in JB and I think they need to at a minimum seem confident and in agreement with each other at trial in front of the jury. Having said this, I'll also admit they'd need to get a grammy-nominated actor to play AL's part since that's a big role to pull off (seeming confident in JB's statements)

Although DNA has been around for a little while, it hasn't been that long in the scheme of things. Fingerprint databases are huge by now, but not nearly as effective or definitive as DNA. Now, we, and I mean Law Enforcement/Government, is attempting to build a large DNA base, wherein each individual whom is convicted of a felony will have to have his or her DNA added to the database, and this is provided by a blood sample. Many crimes can be linked/solved if MOST of the convicted felons are in the system as DNA...since we leave a little of ourselves all around us, and this includes in the commission of crimes.

American Tragedy: The defense of Casey Anthony.

Juror No. 11 somehow made the journey from Casey is the one on trial to George may be a murderer, based on how George acted on the stand? 3 years of evidence against Casey and he throws George under the bus. Makes sense?
What evidence indicated that George might be a murderer? Anyone?
Weren't they to ONLY consider EVIDENCE?
This NOT GUILTY verdict throws Caylee right back into the swamp she decomposed in. Thanks to this "impartial" jury.

Why would the FBI or Oakridge hold anything back from either side?

Don't murder in Kentucky! My thread here.

A proud happy people, we were here long before the white man came. Stalking along meadow paths, we were used to hunting every day. The rivers gave us fish, The woods even gave us deer and other wild game. Here upon this land, we built our homes, and raised our families. Love was free and natural, as we moved swiftly among the trees. This was a country, It was here that we lived for centuries. Oh I want peace with my soul again. Oh I, I want peace with my soul again. Everyday was new love,. Our village was filled with smiling faces.

I'd love for someone to put up a screen shot of the three of them at the podium - I'm not that techy - It totally looks like a school yard fight. JB is the little nerd bumbling and stuttering, dropping his school books. AL is the big bully staring him down and kc is stuck in the middle like "maybe if don't move she won't see me"
100 years from now, it won't matter what kind of car you drove or how big your house was. What will matter is that you were important in the eyes of a child.

Oh, what an awful thing that would be! But, if it was what was needed to secure KC's fate, then...... But, I really hope it belongs to KC instead. I already know that that baby suffered. : (

I thought the same thing... didn't appear to be any worries... So, we got 10+ days or so to see the discovery??

No. Oakridge does not have them. The FBI does. Oakridge has other evidence that they have not turned over yet, but the fingerprints are with the FBI for certain.

Misheley - if you were watching that video without sound - wouldn't you think AL was with the prosecution and not the defense? The whole hearing she was looking at Baez with that - Is it possible for you to act more idiotic than you are now?

ita. I tell myself it's done and caylee cant be hurt now....

...but I think the only way the state can hope tp prove murder 1 is if both kc and caylee's prints are still on the tape.

Sorry if this has been asked and answered...too much reading to catch up at this point...

One of the talking heads on either HLN or TruTV said the felony conviction can only come up if Casey takes the stand. Is that true? Is there no other way to get her conviction into evidence at the murder trial?

    TIA

btw...I honestly thought Casey look pretty good today compared to her last few appearances. But, her apology to Amy was pathetically contrived and obviously coached. I'm glad Amy took the high road and didn't show up. Poor kid's been through enough thanks to her "friend". I'm happy Amy finally got some justice.

She looked mighty relaxed at the start when they brought her in too Woe. I think it has to do with the truth setting her free. At one point while the lawyers were arguing, the camera focused on KC and I had a premonition she'll plea the murder charges. She wasn't fidgting as much today. I don't know.
