Have we ever found the ad for Elizabeth selling her laptop?
 
This was just posted on TS's FB this past Saturday, but when I tried to click on the actual link, it showed it was "expired". Anyone else want to try to get to the actual ad, alleging it's still there? VERY interesting! Here is what the original poster copied from the page:

Anyone know what the sub-category acronym /vnn/ stands for in Craig's List ads? Can't find the section listing that shows /vnn/ anywhere there, but it is in the original address ad link

So then, who is this ad from?? Do we know? I'm just curious, while interesting, is it like all the other adoption ads on CL? Just random people, or is there a connection?

I have no idea who the actual ad was from (if in fact it's actually real). That's the mystery but according to the posting date on TS's FB page, (posted by one of the posters there, not TS herself) the date shows 12-26-09! That's the same date the last known pics of GJ were taken in the hotel and the day before EJ got on the bus from SA to Daytona.

I don't know what the deal is ... the post showed up on TS's page on Saturday (just a few days ago) and I just noticed it today. When I tried clicking on the link posted in it, it showed the post had "expired". Now that is just hinky, all things considered. If it was posted on 12-16, and today is only 12-26 ... that's just a little over a month that it was up, if it was only recently taken down. I don't know how long it had been up before it had "expired". I hope LE checks into this nonetheless. In cases like this, leave no stone unturned. The coincidence between the ad posting and the date, GJ's last pics, etc is just surreal ... I hope maybe this is the lead that yields fruit somehow and that LE looks into it. I'm sure they can get the original ad and the poster's original info from Craig's List somehow.
 
I saw that on her fb, but didn't think too much of it -- but now I'm intrigued.

I wonder if it's possible to track anything via the posting ID.

There's even an email to reply to. Granted, it's a cragslist email but they should be able to tell police who that email address is attached to via the ads.

Yes, they should. And craigslist can probably provide LE with an IP address which will take them to the computer that created it.

Yes, please. LE has asked that people call in tips, even if you think it's not important, even if you think somebody else might have already called it in.

They said tips are critical to them right now.

I think this is something definitely worth investigating. Very good sleuthing on your part. Maybe this is how TS was communicating with Elizabeth.

I just found this site. Not Craigslist, but very much like it. I happened across it in a child abuse news article out of Mesa AZ where the mom advertised as an escort, so may be used in the AZ area, and Eliz may have used it. I haven't even begun to sleuth it, because I just found it. Wanted to post the links in case some others have time to jump in and help sleuth it.

Place a free classified ad with photo. Find houses for rent, apts for rent, local jobs, and local for sale classifieds on backpage.com.

I also searched for the last four digits of her phone number, no results.

Backpage is somewhat popular in Phoenix, so it's a good idea to check them to see if EJ posted there. Someone else may want to try other keywords to see if they can find anything.
 
Did we only search ads with the 480-*advertiser censored*-3608 #? Did we have her cell #? I have it if it hasn't been stated yet.
