Police in Pueblo are searching for a missing man, and now they're asking for the public's help.

34-year-old Benjamin Clark was reported missing on October 9th by his girlfriend. She made the report after a Sheriff's Deputy called to tell her his Pontiac Grand Am had been found with its paint burned to the metal 25 miles east of Pueblo.

The woman says she was with Clark the day before, and had not been worried about him because he'd been known to disappear in the past.

Clark is white, about 6 feet tall and 195 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have recently seen Benjamin Clark or have any information on his whereabouts please call the Pueblo Police Department. You can also call Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 542-STOP to remain anonymous, and if your information leads to a felony arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.

Five years ago Thursday, Janet Clark got the news she had been dreading might come. It was on that day she was told that remains of her son, Benjamin Clark, had been found in the county.

Clark, 36, went missing on Oct. 9, 2009. His skeletal remains were found April 2, 2010, on a ranch near 62nd Lane and Garnett Road, about 25 miles east of Pueblo. A rancher chasing a calf unexpectedly came upon a human skull and called the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office...

Janet Clark is still looking for answers about what happened to her son and hopes someone will come forward with information that will help bring some resolution. “I believe there is someone who knows something,” Janet said. “The sheriff’s department is still considering it an open case and if anyone can come forward with any information, no matter how small it is, it could be helpful. It takes a small key to unlock a big lock.”
