New Jersey State Police scuba divers resumed their search this morning for a man who went missing Monday afternoon while walking his dog near a frozen lake in Swayze Mill Park in Hope Township.
Trooper Brian Polite today identified the missing man as Robert Poyer Jr., 59, of Hope Township.
Poyer's girlfriend told police he often went walking in the park with his dog.
Search teams arrived about 8:40 this morning at the lake after calling off the search Monday night due to freezing temperatures and darkness, police said.
The rural park is in the southern part of the township near the Four Sisters Winery off Route 519.
