MOCKSVILLE, N.C. -- Davie County sheriff's deputies said they're looking for a missing woman without her medications.
Deputies said 38-year-old Maria Elena Poulos left her home in Advance at noon on Friday.
Poulos' mother, Penny Chamis said Maria left with a purse and a cell phone but is not answering phone calls.
Deputies said Poulos is driving a 2006 Hyundai Tuscan.
Chamis said Poulos suffers from a head injury and without her medication she could become delusional. Poulos may even believe that her family is trying to kill her.
Deputies said Chamis and Poulos just moved to Advance from Myrtle Beach S.C. a week ago.
Poulos is 5 foot 4 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Deputies said she was last seen wearing sneakers, black tights, a black T-shirt and a yellow and blue jacket.
If you have any information, deputies ask that you call the sheriff's office at 751-6238.
