Police and fire department personnel yesterday searched the area around Hau'ula Beach Park for Pearl City real estate agent Dan Lambertson, who has been missing since Saturday night.

Friends searching for Lambertson found his car at the beach park yesterday. It is a maroon Volkswagen Jetta, license plate PCS 619 and a license plate frame with the words "I Sell Houses."

Fire Department personnel, including those in a boat and a helicopter, searched the Hau'ula Beach Park area from 10:20 a.m. to 1:40 p.m. but found no sign of Lambertson, fire Capt. Terry Seelig said.

Lambertson was last seen about 8:30 p.m. Saturday when he left Farrington High School, where he attended a church service with his wife. They left in separate cars and were to meet later, a friend said. He has not been seen since.

Lambertson, 39, is 6 feet 1 inch tall and 175 pounds, with dark brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark blue shirt and dark blue jeans.

Anyone with information about him may call police at 911 or CrimeStoppers at 955-8300. Updates are being posted on www.danlambertson.com.

PEARL RIDGE (HawaiiNewsNow) - Loved ones are frantically searching for a beloved realtor from Pearl Ridge who went missing over the weekend.
On Monday night, loved ones gathered at the Lambertson's home, organizing their search efforts, mapping out different parts of the island where they plan on passing out flyers with pictures of 39-year-old Daniel Lambertson.
"This is just so unusual for him to do anything like this," said Theresa Lambertson, Daniel's wife.
Lambertson has been with her soul mate Daniel for seven years, and happily tied the knot just this past October. That's why his disappearance has her baffled.
"I have absolutely no leads at this point. His cell phone is still off and I've checked and he has not checked messages so I have no word of what's going on," said Lambertson.
The couple is originally from New Jersey.
Mrs. Lambertson is a nurse at Tripler, and her husband is a realtor. He recently left Hawaii Realty Group to work for Tropic Lightning Real Estate.
Lambertson was last seen at Farrington High School on Saturday, where he and his wife went to church.
Monday afternoon, friends and co-workers passed out flyers near the school and around Kalihi.
Lambertson says she and her husband took separate cars to church because they each had errands to do earlier in the day.

Both were supposed to meet back home after church, but Lambertson never showed up.
His wife says she later noticed two missed calls from him between the time she saw him at church, and when she went home, but there was no voicemail message.
Teary-eyed, Lambertson had this message for her husband in case he was watching:
"Dan, I love you. Please come home."

This is a case that continues to haunt me. I wonder if the information given about his last sighting/whereabouts, is actually true. There appeared to be few if any problems in his life, however, no one's life is perfect. I think this is what bothers me the most about this case - he was 39 years old, yet we have zero information about those 39 years. How was his new company doing...how successful was he as a realtor, how were the family finances, was his wife ever questioned (perhaps she knew of someone he had talked to at church that night, or someone had called his cellphone and he mentioned it). Any enemies? Any affairs? I'm also thinking of the two missed calls he had made on his drive "home" to his wife; maybe he had tried to call her because an impromptu house showing had arisen, and that turned out to be the cause of his disappearance....the lack of attention to this case and information about it, is driving me crazy.

The report on the news article said that they had a bloodhound search for his sent on the beach his car was located on and was not able to pick up a scent. Looking on Google Maps, I noticed that there's a Forest Reserve pretty close to where his car was found with his belongings. I could not locate any information on whether or not they've searched the forest. I think it'd be worth checking the Hauula Forest Reserve.

Bumping. I know this is an older thread, but the lack of information is pretty shocking. No real new updates that I have found. We are covering his story on our podcast.

This case feels really 'quiet'. Too quiet.

I know, generally speaking, men get less coverage as a missing person than women, but...this guy is still missing.

I feel his financials and his job are the reason for his disappearance. I also think this gentleman might have committed suicide.
