WA WA - Edith Claver, 47, Des Moines, 27 Nov 2009

Authorities are looking for a 47-year-old Des Moines woman last seen Nov. 27 when she walked away from the Ukrainian Christian Church in Renton.

Renton police said Edith M. Claver was last seen wearing a blue pullover-type jacket, bluejeans, and tennis shoes.

The day after she was last seen, a church employee found items belonging to the missing woman near a large trash receptacle on the north side of the church, in the 200 block of Hardie Avenue Northwest.

Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call Renton Police at 425-430-7500.

Over two months ago, on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, Des Moines resident Edith M. Claver, 47, went missing when she walked away from the Ukrainian Christian Center in Renton.

We posted our most recent update on Dec. 29th (here) but Edith is still considered a missing person.

As we reported Dec. 4th, according to Renton Police Chief Kevin Milosevich, Claver was last seen around 7pm Nov. 27th in Renton, wearing a blue pullover jacket, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

The day after she went missing, an employee of the church discovered items belonging to her near a dumpster on the north side of the property, located at 221 Hardie Ave NW in Renton.

I still don't believe Margaret is dead so I hope the authorities keep searching.
That reporter should have said she was still classified as a missing person and if anyone had any information about her please call the Renton police.

Police began investigating the case as a missing persons case in November. Concerned for her safety, investigators released her photos and a press release asking for public assistance in locating her. Since then, investigators Kevin Keyes has spoken to friends and relatives of Claver.

Claver is originally from a tribe in British Columbia. According to police records, tribal members told officers that Claver was last seen going to a Tulalip Smokehouse. - snipped

TULALIP, Wash. – Human remains have been found near Tulalip Resort Casino, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.

Crews found the skeletal body Sunday during a search for a missing 24-year-old man. The Sheriff’s office said the remains are unrelated to the Everett man’s case.

“Detectives believe the human remains to be several years old,” a release said.

The remains were recovered from a wooded area in the 9900 block of 27[SUP]th[/SUP] Ave NE.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the identity of the person and how they died.
