BANDON, Ore. -- As police continue their hunt for their suspect in the double homicide in Bandon, concern for his wife and child continues to grow.
Gabriel Morris was last seen Monday night at about 9:30 p.m. with his wife Jessica and 4-year-old daughter.
Two days later, police labeled him as armed and dangerous -- and his family as possibly endangered.
The sudden disappearance of his wife Jessica caused concern among co-workers at Bandon Bookkeeping -- and with the Women's Safety and Resource Center in Coos Bay.
Jessic Morris had come to them in December with an idea for a fundraiser in Bandon which was to take place last Saturday.
But the week beforehand, all communication -- by phone or e-mail -- had stopped, and the event was cancelled.
"She did not seem like someone who would just disappear," said Judy Moody, executive director at the Women's Safety and Resource Center. "We were pretty concerned, quite frankly, about that -- that she just, all of a sudden, wasn't in contact with us."
Moody said that Morris was completely engaged in pulling off this fundraiser, one that she said did not involve any exchange of money with Morris.
Moody said her concern right now is for the safety of Jessica and the couple's young child.
"It was just too bizarre, her disappearance was just too not like what I had experienced with her in my conversations with her on the phone," she said.
Police said the Morris' are believed to have been travelling in a silver Ford Taurus, Oregon license number YRK 052. DMV records show the vehicle is a 2002.
Law enforcement said Gabriel Morris returned to the area within the last two months after living in Blackfoot, Idaho. Morris is believed to be armed with two handguns and should be considered armed and dangerous, Frasier said.

BLACKFOOT — The man charged with two counts of murder in Oregon is a former patrol deputy with the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Gabriel Morris worked for the Sheriff’s Office from September 2005 to July 2007, Sheriff Dave Johnson said. Authorities in Oregon believe Morris shot and killed his mother, Robin Anstey, 62, and her live-in boyfriend William Kennelly, Jr., 48, in Coos County, Oregon, Feb. 8. Police throughout the country have been looking for Morris and believe his wife and daughter are also with him. They were last seen in Mesa, Ariz. Feb. 11. A surveillance video clearly showed all three of them and their car, a 2002 silver Ford Taurus. Authorities believe they may now be headed to Louisiana or Florida where Morris has family.
Morris and his wife Jessica moved to Blackfoot more than five years ago. After being employed by the Sheriff’s Office for nearly two years, Morris quit. A few months later, in the fall of 2007, he was hired at Gold’s Gym in Blackfoot. Owner Taylor Ball said he worked at the gym for nearly one year. During his time there he became a licensed insurance agent. He then began working at the Taylor Ball Agency, an American Family insurance broker, in the fall of 2008. In 2009 Morris opened his own insurance office in Pocatello, but closed his office shortly thereafter.
The Morrises then moved to Oregon a few months ago. They were living with Kennelly and Anstey.
Gabriel Morris is believed to be armed with two different handguns and is considered dangerous.
Anyone with information or knowledge of the Morrises whereabouts is strongly encouraged not to contact them but to immediately call 911.

Internet search confirmed suspicions about Morris
Story Published: Feb 22, 2010 at 11:48 AM PST

DUMFRIES, Va. -- The Internet found the Morris family a place to live in Virginia a few days ago -- and led to their capture Monday in connection with a double homicide in Coquille, Ore.
Gabriel Morris faces two counts of aggravated murder in the Feb. 8 slaying of his mother and her boyfriend. His wife Jessica is being held as a material witness. Their 4-year-old daughter is unharmed.
Law enforcement officials said the Morris family had been staying in Dumfries, Va., for a couple days at the home of someone they met on the Internet. A resident of the home, which police said had many adult residents, became suspicious of Morris after seeing a segment on "America's Most Wanted" and searched his name on the Internet, discovering he was wanted for murder in Oregon.
The resident phoned the tip in to Prince William County law enforcement. The U.S. Marshals Service Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force went into action, staking out the home and moving in as Morris and his wife tried to leave the house.
Investigators feared that once confronted, Morris might try and harm his wife and daughter who were traveling with him, U.S. Marshals said. However, Morris left the home in a Ford Explorer with the female homeowner of the house where the family was staying. His wife Jessica and daughter left the house at the same time in the same silver Ford Taurus with Oregon plates that investigators identified after the victims' bodies were discovered almost two weeks ago, according to the U.S. Marshals.
Morris was armed with a .45 caliber handgun but taken into custody without incident, Marshals said.
