<snipped> Why do so many terrible crimes happen to children in Florida? “A lot of cases happen because we’re a big state,” Walsh told me. “We just have our share of terrible crimes.”
He has strong views about Casey Anthony, who is charged with the first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. “It’s an awful, awful case,” Walsh said. “I do believe she killed her daughter and will pay for it.”
The milestone episode of “America’s Most Wanted” airs at 9 p.m. Saturday on WOFL-Channel 35 and briefly features President Barack Obama. Walsh went to see Obama and called it “one of the most positive meetings I’ve ever had at the White House.” (They’re shown in this official White House photo by Lawrence Jackson.)
Walsh described himself as “not a huge death penalty advocate,” but added that the murder of an innocent child warrants death.
According to this notice, Baez scheduled a meeting 6 months ago to look at all the docs, canceled the meeting and has never rescheduled. Yet Baez continued to file frivolous motions to get the docs, even though he had access to them.
