Bossier sheriff seeks help in locating missing woman

Bossier Sheriff deputies are seeking public help in locating a Haughton woman missing for at least five days.
Nancy Miller, 39, of East Highland Mobile Home Park in Haughton, was last seen on Wednesday at home by her father. She lives alone and left everything behind – car, keys, purse, money and her medication.
Miller is described as being 5’ 6” tall and around 240 pounds. She has dark reddish-brown, auburn hair.
Miller’s family and detectives are working tirelessly to find her. If anyone has any information, they are urged to call the Bossier Sheriff’s Office at 318-965-2203.

Missing Haughton Woman's Parents Speak Out

The Bossier Sheriff's Office has just released a new picture of missing Haughton woman, 39 year-old Nancy Miller.
She disappered Wednesday, after being seen leaving the East Highland Mobile Home Park in Haughton. She left everything behind, her car, keys, money and medication according to her father, Thurmon Malone.

Her parents are very worried and concerned. "It has never happened before and she's never went off like this. We'd see her two or three times a day usually. We want her know how much we love her and much we miss her and we're looking forward to her to being back home with us" said Malone.

Woman missing since March 3 seen at bar door

HAUGHTON, La. (AP) - Bossier Parish sheriff's deputies say a Haughton woman missing for eight days was last seen - barefoot and in a blue housecoat - at a bar across from the mobile home park where she lived.
Habich says the report was made Friday - and Monday, a dog tracked Miller from her home to the bar, then crossed the highway and sat down.
Investigators believe Miller may have gotten into a car. They have asked police in the area and neighboring states to watch out for her.

Authorities still need help locating Nancy Miller, 39, of Haughton
She was last seen on March 3, at her home in the East Highland Mobile Home Park in Haughton, stated a news release. She is five feet, six inches tall, weighing about 240 pounds. She has dark, reddish-brown, auburn hair.
According to the latest reports from witnesses, someone fitting Miller's description walked into Reflections across from her mobile home park. She reportedly opened the door and walked into the doorway, looking confused. She then turned around and walked out and across Highway 80 toward the westbound lane.

Red Chute Bayou body identified as missing woman
May 7, 2010
Bossier Parish authorities have positively identified a body found in Red Chute Bayou Thursday as Nancy Sue MIller of Haughton.
Rest in Peace Nancy.

Bossier Parish investigators do not think that foul play was involved but are still trying to determine the cause of death.
