I'm in Indy, so this one is close to home, since I have a 21-year old college guy myself.

    Here are other articles:

And, probably most important, a FaceBook page set-up by the family to find Pat http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=107910299228559

Info from the page about searches
Anyone who wants to help look for Patrick and his car please come to our house at 8815 Admirals Bay Drive (someone will be here at all times) or text/call Kristin at 317-748-3984 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 317-748-3984 end_of_the_skype_highlighting so we can coordinate and figure out what area you are able to search. We do not want to duplicate our efforts. Any help is appreciated. If you can search an area, please do it as thoroughly as possible (i.e. drive through parking lots, businesses, etc.) so we can cross that area off the list. Also make sure to look down any woods or ditches where a car might have gone off the road to the extent you can do so safely.

Anyone who can also get pictures of that car out please do so in any way possible as that will probably be the most likely way to find where he is. The picture above is a pretty good representation, except his has tinted windows...any google images
None of this really said when and where to meet, so I wrote the FB page owner and she said to call that number; someone will be there to staff the phones at all times. She also suggested calling the (suburbs) Fishers and Lawrence PD to see if they have exact info. (of course, FB is now down for a few hours AAAHHHH!!! so I can't look at the exact info).

I plan to get there tomorrow.

This isn't looking good. He left a party at 1:23 in the morning possibly heading to another party. I hope he didn't end up in Geist Reservoir.

    missing Purdue student
Trainor had spent his spring break at home and had left home to drive to a friend's home in Fishers. Police were told that Trainor was driving a green 1999 Ford Mustang with dents on the left side.
His family said in a statement that Trainor had been expected to return to classes Monday, but he did not return home. Their last contact with him was a text message sent after 1 a.m. Sunday from the area of I-69 and 96th Street.
Fishers Police Sgt. Randy McFarland said divers searched Geist Reservoir as a precautionary measure Monday.
He said that was the general area where Trainor's cell phone was last detected and that police have no other reason to believe Trainor might be in the water.

The family of 19 year old Patrick Trainor says he was last seen at a party in the Geist area and was on his way to another party when he sent a text message and that's the last time he was heard from.

An area of the Geist Reservoir was searched along with a retention pond at a housing addition but nothing has been found.

The Indiana State Police had a helicopter in the air to help with the search.

Police say, at this point, there's no sign of foul play.

Trainor was driving a 1999 "Electric Green" Ford Mustang with a spoiler, tinted windows and damage to the left side.

Division also helped on the ground with manpower by searching a large amount of shoreline of various bodies of water.

Detectives solicited numerous businesses for any possible video camera footage and plan on doing more of the same tomorrow along any possible route Patrick may have taken toward his home on the far south side of Indianapolis.

Jordon Gofourth, president of the fraternity Patrick Trainor was had pledged to, Beta Theta Pi, declined to speak on camera. He said the last time anyone from the fraternity spoke to Patrick Trainor was last week.
"We've talked to and had the police go over to his dorm and the fraternity he was pledging at. We've also visited his dorm and both places there was no sign that he ever went back to Purdue or intended to go back there," said Matt Trainor.
Patrick Trainor's father, Don Trainor, said his co-workers are aiding in the search as well.
"A number of my colleagues at work have taken the day off so they could do that. We have some other friends and neighbors that are joining in that search and we're just really thankful everyone is helping to look," said Don Trainor.
Matt Trainor said the Fishers Police Department has "worked extensively" to obtain phone records from Patrick's cell phone carrier. He said Patrick's phone was ringing until around noon Sunday. At that point, the phone started going to voicemail.
"If his phone was on right now, they could GPS it and figure out where he is. With the phone off, there is no way to locate him now," said Matt Trainor.

Nothing found as of Tuesday night

There was a similar car found in another nearby suburb - Noblesville - but it was not Patrick's car.

Police searched at least one retention pond, as someone thought there was a floating hubcab. No car.

My husband and I drove to that side of town and went up and down roads for about 2 hours. There is a lot more development/neighborhoods than we remember in that area, which is good, in that someone could look out their window and see a car in the yard, as opposed to tons of cornfields.

As of late tonight, the FB site is saying just look anywhere, not concentrating on his last cell ping, as that area has been searched over and over.

The only positive thing is that finally the number of police departments claiming the case has gone from 3 down to 1.

My husband and I were out driving around tonight too. We were so hoping we'd see his car. This is so sad, I can't even imagine how hard this is for his parents. I'm planning on putting posters around tomorrow, but praying he will be found safe before then.

Here is another article regarding the search. On the local news today they said his cell phone last pinged near a boat ramp. I really think he went into the water. This is so sad.
