CA - Parents Arrested for Infant Daughter's 2009 death!

Two Serra Mesa parents suspected of contributing to their 3-month old daughter's 2009 death were arrested Thursday morning.
Steven and Sara Davenger were detained at about 9 a.m. at the Naval Station on 32nd Street, according to the San Diego Police Department Homicide Unit, which teamed with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service to make the arrest.

It took a year and a half for them to make the case, but they finally charged the parents!
This happened in the apartment complex next to my work building....hits close to home for me.

More info at this article....but what gets me is that this was a THREE MONTH OLD - that "inflicted over time" statement just makes me cringe!
