So do I! But guess what, lawyers can defame anyone they want during the course of a trial, I believe they call it theorizing what might have happened ... it's just the rest of us non-lawyers that have to account for what we say if it's not true and intended to harm someone's reputation.

you know what.. you are exactly correct. Kronk was made out to be the villian in this by JB. I didnt know in opening statements who they were going to pin this on Kronk or George Anthony.

Kronk should file a law suit against JB in specific.

This is one lawsuit I believe has some merit.

LP made numerous appearances on national TV with his "daisy chain" theory with accusations toward RK.

I hope he sues his pants off.
I loved and respected LP until he went all over the news with his crazy theories... speaking them as if they were the gospel. I'd love to say what I think about him..
Roy Kronk may have some skeletons in his closet, but who cares about all of that? IMO, he was just another one of us regular people who were obsessed with this case and actually had the time and resources (meter reading route, county vehicle etc.) to go out and look for Caylee... and actually found her!
That could've been any one of us... if we would've been in that area.
If someone in my area went missing and I had a hunch.... and heard on the news that someone said the body could be at a certain place, I'd go looking too.

I can't speak for others but Kronk is not just a "regular people" like me. If I was more than 99% sure that I had seen a skull in a trash dump swamp only two blocks from the Anthony house and had Deputy Cain blow it off I would have acted very differently. I would have quickly called OCSO again and asked to send out another officer. I would have told them that what I saw looks exactly like a skull. I would have explained that the skull was in water and that they would need to bring whatever gear necessary to check it out. I wouldn't have waited 4 more months to go look at that skull again.

No, Kronk isn't like me at all. Not. One. Bit.

There is so much info and strange things about Kronk's story. And how about his yes sir no sir son? What's up with that dude? Visiting his pee pee site over and over. Polking skull with stick turned into lifting bag 4 feet off the ground with skull rolling out? I can't believe the State let Baez get away with that junk. Ashton should have closed that fairytale up before it had a chance.

So...because Kronk isn't like you...he deserves the defamation he received by JB & Padilla? Puhleeze...he was a man who stuck his neck out there more than once to help locate Caylee! If you could have done it better...why didn't you?

I have no idea where Hot Dogs lives, but if she/he is in the OC area, that might be a fair question..... had he/she SEEN the skull. I would have reacted different/been more proactive thank RK. Most everyone alive would have been. I have no beef with RK, but if I were HIM... I would have been SCREAMING to anyone who would have listened to please keep investigating.
For the record, I do not think RK had an agenda. I'm only confused WHY he didn't pursue this *suspicious skull looking object* until someone payed attention. Morally bankrupt? No. Bullied? Perhaps. He doesn't deserved to be bullied... but we (the public) have every right to question all this....

BBM - I agree, but I have to wonder if what he experienced in the past (kidnapping charge) played a part in not following up sooner. Did he figure "Well, if I found this someone else will too?" or "Surely a higher up will hear about Dep Cain and follow up!" When this didn't happen and the water receded, he went back and sure enough he saw what he thought he had seen. (Maybe he tried to convince himself he was wrong during that time?)

Regardless he found Caylee down the street from MCA's home, when no one else did (including the LEO he spoke to). He did not deserve to be dragged through the Anthony mud or tied to a daisy chain. That was just wrong on LP's part, as was saying LA/GA was Caylee's father and would be proved by the FBI docs....

I liked LP early on, wanting to get ICA a meal and a pedicure to get her to open up but he himself proved me wrong....

I agree with you. I might get a load down on me for this but what if Kronk had an intuition that the body might be there? It's happened before.

LP always impressed me as a straight shooter who didn't care what anyone else thought of him. His attitude was refreshing amidst all the lies. On a previous post I talked about his story; he says he has proof and it will all come out when the depositions start.

For better or worse, we're far from finished with Casey Anthony.

LP told so many different stories, which one is true? They can't all be true.

Nancy Grace transcripts (thanks to ChillyWilly) from different show dates:

#1-PADILLA: It had to come from Casey through somebody. I would assume it was Lee. Lee passed it onto somebody, who passed it on to Kronk.

#2- PADILLA: His supervisor is a neighbor of the Anthony`s.

#3- PADILLA: I don`t know exactly how the private eyes got it. There could have been two sources. In other words, Kronk wasn`t getting the job done, so let`s get the private eyes out there. And then finally, whether the private eyes -- see, the private eyes were just 12 feet from the body, but the body was submerged in a pool of water at that time.

I think this is all really one story. Basically, LP alleges that someone told Kronk where to find the body. Supposedly two guards at the jail listened in on a conversation between KC and JB. Since that is illegal they couldn't very well reveal what they had heard. According to LP's story, Kronk got the info from his girlfriend who worked at the jail.

Maybe at the time of the interviews LP hadn't been able to put the whole thing together and just knew bits and pieces. Maybe he was deliberately being vague. Maybe he didn't know what to do with the info because he didn't want to get LE in hot water or probably even sabotage the trial. Or maybe he put it out there hoping that someone in LE would look into it.

I'm not saying I believe this or I don't. But it's as possible as anything else. If someone in the know doesn't step up and admit their part in this we will have to wait for the depositions. Of course, people lie at dispositions just as they do in court. So, it may not go anywhere even if the story is true.

Of course LP wants his 15 minutes (or more) of fame like everyone else. But I still feel that what he says he believes to be true. And I hope he is because to me that would mean that JB knew that Caylee was already dead while everyone was still looking for her. Somehow, there should be repercussions for that.
