Upstate Ex-Guidance Counselor Pleads Guilty To Having Child Porn
A former high school guidance counselor pleaded guilty Wednesday to possessing at least 150 images of child pornography on his computer.
James Sperduti, 43, of Buffalo, was a guidance counselor at Tonawanda High School until March, according to federal prosecutors.
As part of his plea in U.S. District Court, he admitted to possessing at least 150 but fewer than 300 images of child pornography, including some which depicted children under the age of 12. http://www.wnbc.com/news/5692130/detail.html

Why is it that when a custodial parent fails to provide for a child it is called neglect and is a criminal matter. But when a non custodial parent fails to provide it is called failure to support and is a civil matter?
