Found Deceased GA - Allison Marie Mullins, 27, Cartersville, 18 April 2009

Allison was last seen at her residence. She had gone to bed at approximately 11:00pm. At approximately 7:00am the following morning and discovered Allison's bedroom light still on and no indication she had slept in her bed. Her car, personal identification and cell phone were still in the home. Allison has a medical condition and needs immediate medical assistance.

Body found alongside I-75 near Resaca; abandoned car nearby

The Gordon County Sheriff’s Office and Gordon County Coroner’s Office are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in a densely wooded area alongside Interstate 75 near Resaca Monday afternoon.

Investigating detectives discovered documents with the body identifying the woman as Allison M. Mullins, 27, of 11 Colonial Circle in Cartersville.

An abandoned automobile, believed to be that of the deceased woman, was also located nearby parked off the roadway.

Investigating officers believe that the body could have been in the undergrowth near the highway for a number of days, although summer weather conditions make determining an exact time of death difficult.
