PD: Man with diminished capacity missing from Chandler home

CHANDLER, AZ -- Police are asking for the public's help to locate a man who went missing from his Chandler home Wednesday.

Detective David Ramer, with Chandler police, said 51-year-old David Lee Blake was last seen walking near Arizona Avenue and Chandler Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.

Blake reportedly suffers from dementia and has the mental capacity of a 12-year-old.

Ramer said Blake has not taken his daily medications and it is believed he borrowed a bus pass and may be traveling on the Valley Metro bus system.

He was last seen wearing a khaki colored jacket, dark colored sweat pants, white tennis shoes and a white colored Diamondbacks baseball cap with his name written under the bill of the cap.

Blake is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 230 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.

CHANDLER, AZ. The Chandler Police Department is asking for assistance in locating a missing person. David Lee Blake, a fifty-one year old Chandler resident, was last seen on March 3, 2010 at 12:30 PM walking in the 100 North block of Washington Street. David suffers from dementia and has the mental capacity of a twelve year old. David has not yet taken his daily medications. David borrowed a bus pass and may be traveling on the Valley Metro bus system. He was last seen wearing a khaki colored jacket, dark colored sweat pants, white tennis shoes and a white colored Diamondbacks baseball cap with his name written under the bill of the cap. He is five feet tall and approximately 230 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
