These two appear to go together.

I agree - the girl in the red is the same, as is her necklace.

Thanks for finding that... Now how and when did he get there? And where else did he go? And where can we find missing persons from those areas?

Now would someone tell why in the heck our LE can't come out and tell us who came forward from the pictures and is safe! They don't have to give names just show the pic and say they're safe. Something like 9 have and I've only read of one. I don't get it.

He would have had to have a phony passport. It's a relief to know these women are alive.
Ditto, and I'll bet they're relieved too!!!

Heck, if they're concerned about the subjects' privacy, just blur the heck out of it so that we can get them as rule outs. Or even say "this photo taken down as it's not relevant to the public" so we know that the ones that are up... are still open.

Of course even the women who come forward know where Alcala was, and when, so it's all useful evidence in finding/identifying other possible victims.

According to this, if the red-top lady's recollection is correct, the Denmark photo was taken by Alcala himself in 1968-1972. He was in prison for some of that so it leaves his fugitive years. Her adult son says that his mom, about 60 now, remembers Alcala very well, was with a childhood friend.

His mother, who is now in her 60s, was too shocked to speak with the media when a friend rang her yesterday after recognising her picture in the newspapers.

The woman pictured next to her is a childhood friend who she lost touch with more than 20 years ago, and is now trying to reconnect with after they both contacted the police.

There have been quite a few questions about this but no answers unfortunately. I have found no information at all regarding where he was while in service.
