The gold looks like it is 18K popular among Indian women. JMO

That type of jewelry I have seen at flea markets as well as street vendors in NYC...... It's gold plated metal jewelry. Mom probably loved her lil girl very much and picked up jewelry she could afford to "spoil herself and babygirl" Maybe she even worked at a stand for a street vendor at some point? Just a thought.

Biggest I found is 18 gal
Length is 24 in = 61 cm

For a woman of 60 in = 152 cm height
http://www.anatomy4sculptors.com/hpc/

The head height is 21.8 cm
From shoulder line to crotch it is 2.7 head units.
from crotch to bottom of knees=1.7 head units

Det. Brosnan says: "It was basically a torso. The arms were cut at the shoulder, the legs were removed just below the knee, and she was decapitated,"

Just wondering the physics of this.

Sasha Davis and Selah Davis?

Mom and baby accompanied by a male (also missing) depart from Bronx for a visit to Rochester.
Seems like they made it to Rochester.

Baby has a DNA sample, mom doesn't have. Age of the baby varies from source to source

I don't think we're going to be able to make much progress on this unless LE at least releases more information. It would be better if we had a contact in LE so we could at least know a submission has been considered.

Given the history of the LISK case, I don't think we're ever going to get that.

You ever get the impression they really don't want to know who these people are, and even moreso that they really don't want to know who the LISK is?

A really long shot

Celina Janette Mays

Peaches Doe: https://identifyus.org/en/cases/11652
Celina Mays: https://www.findthemissing.org/en/cases/6370

Celina is missing from New Jersey in December 1996. She’s 12 years old and 9 months pregnant. She’s expected to deliver on December 29th. After Celina’s mother dies in 1994, she lives with her maternal relatives for a short period then the father gets her custody.

MATERNAL RELATIVES
Lynn Vitale (late mother)
Robert Benaglio (Half-brother, Dryden Michigan)

PATERNAL RELATIVES
C.J. Mays (father)
Evette Mays (aunt)
Cerita Smith (aunt)
Sean Smith (cousin)

Celina lives with her father and her aunt (Evette). The other aunt Cerita is “running” a church with heavy indoctrination, adopting a kind of communal life.

Celina gets pregnant when she’s 11. Her father adamantly denies any involvement, saying that he had a vasectomy.
New Jersey police believes her disappearance/runaway may have been with the assistance of adults (i.e. indirectly implying close family members). A year later after her disappearance cousin Sean Smith (~20 y.o. circa the time Celina disappears) impregnates two teenagers in the congregation.

Celina is claimed to have conceived from another man, a young man. But given the above Sean stands as a viable culprit. Maternal relatives blame the aunts for her disappearance.

What may have happened is; in 1996 the aunts may have decided it is best to relocate Celina to avoid a scandal in the church and thus faked a runaway. Maybe they settled her somewhere in New York where she basically lives alone and some predator may have laid eyes on the young girl. And if that is the case and Celina is “Peaches Doe”, that may explain why the aunts couldn’t file a second missing persons report. Which may mean, the initial DNA sample provided to the police could be a fake one, as the runaway is perhaps staged and they have access to other young girls in the congregation.

Although the victim Peaches Doe is described as very young, possibly teenager by the police, the tattoo artist is adamant that she appeared around 20. I spoke with the man. He also says the girl wasn’t a short one. Furthermore, around a year ago he received a call from a woman who claimed she's the mother of Peaches Doe, he brought them in contact with Nassau Police, but seems like it didn't pan out.

All the time. Sweeping things under the rug may be a "cleaning method" of choice for some people.

just opinion here.... I think its possible that they fear their suspect is law enforcement or retired LE, possibly even an LEO who had his job terminated. (with the termination possibility could be a chronic offender of sexual harassment, an officer who picked on prostitutes, that type of thing. Maybe an officer with just a few years under his belt and a decision made that he is disposable and a pain in the butt so he was canned) just thoughts,,,,

crimestoppers NY/LI(or perhaps AMW, or perhaps docu makers) could coordinate with Bristol and Hartford crimestoppers to run 30 day billboards simultaneously in those 2 towns and ask for the woman(women) who went into the Bristol tattoo parlor with "PEACHES" to come forward to identify her

Both items are from Groupon inventory, around 19 Dollars each. Can be sold in flea markets too, but there's one in a million chance that they may be bought online as XO Bracelets (The patterns goes XOXOXO) are on the market by late 2008. I wrote this to SCPD too, I don't know what they did. The picture quality is horrible. Groupon may help them what exactly the items are and where they were distributed. If the toddler's jewelleries are also from Groupon inventory, I would definitely look to see if there is credit card account purchasing these items.

THANK YOU! Didn't realize you had posted them before. But that is the jewelry.... probably a dime a dozen and Made in China...... hard to track I'm sure

Thousands must be in circulation, and hundred alternatives how the mom got those, but I would give Groupon a shot. Both items appear to be from Groupon, may be there's an account buying all these..

Article today.

"9 Murder Victims Whose Names Remain a Mystery"

"6. GIRL WITH THE PEACH TATTOO

On Long Island in the summer of 1997, authorities recovered a headless torso of a female murder victim. The absence of the rest of her body made identification next to impossible. Yet one detail set her remains apart - on her left breast was the tattoo of a peach, with a single droplet of juice dripping out".

am curious--------is the container easy to buy ? I mean is it typical to Target or Home Depot. Commonnly used a a school, daycare center, construction job etc

The Rubbermaid container is a very common household item, could have been purchased at any number of stores. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Home Depot all carry Rubbermaid products. Many other retailers, too.

home depot is the likely first choice, then walmart--but I think home depot used to carry the green version, walmarts was blue

Criminal minds. That's a great idea. Might be out of our powers and finances unfortunately. We are working different angles however to bring peaches to people's attention.

Thanks!
Rachel

I am trying to think back to 1997. Back then we did not have many Home Depots, IIRC. We still had Pergament stores and Caldor stores that sold plastic containers. We, also, had many more small mom & pop hardware stores.

May not be very important, but FWIW

Personally I think Amanda and her mother fit the time line of being the dead mother and toddler, but I would like to know more about Jane doe #3 like body type and height. But also the woman is believed to have fled to Egypt. So unless there is DNA from the father of Amanda there is nothing to compare it with.
