Man missing after leaving relatives home; Vehicle found on side of road

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts was urged to call the Missing Persons Detail of the Sheriffs Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500 and ask for Sgt. Nunez or Detective Abraham. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.

According to this link the area where his car was found (mile marker 10 on Glendora Ridge Road) appears to be in the middle of the woods. Oddly, human remains were found right near there last fall. I haven't followed up yet to see if the remains were ever identifited: http://glendoracitynews.com/2015/10/13/breaking-human-remains-discovered-along-glendora-mtn-rd/

Thanks, I see that now. I think I passed over it assuming that it was just an organizational thing where the "missing persons detail" was part of the homicide bureau.

Being that Poland's car was found near mile marker 10 of Glendora Ridge Road and these now confirmed human remains were found "near mile marker 10" of the same road, this could be Poland: http://www.sgvtribune.com/general-news/20170102/human-remains-found-in-forest-north-of-glendora
