LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) – As the national manhunt for alleged Facebook killer Steve Stephens comes to a close, another disturbing Facebook Live video has surfaced showing a self-described Muslim man making apparent threats toward attendees at a Christian conference.

You must read the article..and watch his video. (Warning: profanity)

You might have to Google his video or search on Twitter under his name Ehab Jaber. What a freak!

PARIS -- An attacker with an automatic weapon opened fire on police in Paris' iconic Champs-Elysees shopping district Thursday night, killing one officer and seriously wounding two others before police shot and killed him.

Paris police spokeswoman Johanna Primevert told The Associated Press that the attacker targeted officers guarding the area near the Franklin Roosevelt subway station at the centre of the avenue popular with tourists. She said he appeared to be acting alone.

Police and soldiers sealed off the area, ordering tourists back into their hotels and blocking people from approaching the scene. The Paris prosecutor's office said counterterrorism investigators are involved in the probe.

AP EXPLAINS: HOW SUSPECTED BUS BOMBER HOPED TO MAKE MILLIONS

WHAT KIND OF TRADE DID HE USE?

Buying "put options," as the suspect allegedly did, gives the trader the right to sell a stock at an agreed price. So if the stock drops, the trader can use the option to sell the shares at the higher price. By then buying them back at the lower price on that day, he earns a profit.

It's a form of insurance, and is something companies use to protect themselves against the risk of volatility in financial markets.

Options can be very expensive to buy, although online trading systems now make them accessible to anyone, experts say. German prosecutors say the 28-year-old suspect took out a five-figure loan to buy thousands of them against Borussia Dortmund's shares on the same day as the April 11 bus attack. The team is the only top-league German club that has shares listed on a stock exchange.

The plan, however, was carried out clumsily. The suspect bought the options from a computer at the same hotel where the soccer team was staying, authorities said. The size and timing of the trade raised the attention of investigators. So even if he had succeeded in causing the shares to drop, he would have been easy to catch.

Borussia Dortmund team bus attack: Police probing 'Islamist link'

http://news.sky.com/story/borussia-dortmund-team-bus-attack-police-probing-islamist-link-10834285

A letter left at the scene of the Borussia Dortmund team bus attack reportedly links it to German involvement in the fight against Islamic State in Syria.

It also mentions the Berlin Christmas market attack carried out by an IS-inspired terrorist in 2016, according to the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

The letter, reportedly written in German, began: "In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful."

But the majority of Chinese jihadis are with the Turkistan Islamic Party in Syria, whose vast majority are Chinese Muslims, particularly those from the Turkic-speaking Uighur majority native to Xinjiang in China. Their growing role in Syria has resulted in increased cooperation between Syrian and Chinese intelligence agencies who fear those same jihadis could one day return home and cause trouble there.

France opens counter-terror probe into Reunion island police shooting

http://www.france24.com/en/20170427-france-reunion-police-shooting-terror-probe

The assailant, a man in his twenties who is believed to be a recent convert to Islam, is now in custody.

A jihadist network, the first in a French overseas territory, was smashed in Reunion in June 2015. Its leader, a 21-year-old known as "The Egyptian", was arrested and transferred to Paris.

France is under a state of emergency after multiple Islamic extremist attacks. Extremists have notably targeted French security forces, seen as representing the reviled state.

"Dramatic video footage has showed the moment heavily armed police stormed a north London house in an anti-terror raid today.

Armed police could be seen approaching the terraced house in Willesden, north London, before pointing their guns towards the windows.

A woman was shot by police and was taken to hospital, where she remains under police guard.

Four people have now been arrested and are currently in custody at a south London Police station.

This incident is not connected to the arrest in Whitehall earlier today, the Met Police said."

Gregory Lepsky, 20, of Point Pleasant, was charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. Investigators say he had praised the Islamic State group's leader, Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, in online messages.

While Lepsky was being treated for that wound, he told officials at the scene that he planned to kill his mother and that he had pledged allegiance to Allah, the complaint said.

According to a court document, the FBI began investigating Calloway in 2016. The document says he posted "numerous violent and threatening statements," ''friended" several hundred Islamic State fighters and sympathizers, joined IS Facebook groups and posted pro-IS propaganda. An investigation revealed he maintains at least two active Facebook accounts, "one related to his extremist racial views and one related to his pro-ISIS views," the court document said, referring to the IS.

"Thousands of travel reps are being given counter-terrorism advice to help protect British holidaymakers from the threat of Islamic State attacks.

Police have made special videos showing how to keep safe if a gunman runs amok and advising on spotting terror suspects and suspicious packages.

The short films will be shown to as many as 40,000 travel industry workers before the summer holiday season."

This is a great idea it would be good if they released the videos to the public too.

"Police poured into Paris' Gare du Nord station late on Monday evening, evacuating passengers from platforms and sealing off the area.

French police said in a single tweet that there was an operation underway at the busy station, which is the terminus of a large suburban and national rail network as well as Eurostar trains from London."

I'd like to see it if anyone gets a link to it. I travel a lot in Europe with my significant other when he's on tour... sometimes there isn't any security but me.

I am curious to see that too. My daughter goes to Europe or Australia every 3 months or so on business. And she said there has been very little security at the conventions and hotels that she visits there. It makes me very nervous....

Yes, terrorists kill people, but to me it just seems like they are men who like to kill and are using Islam as an excuse to fulfill their fantasies. This whole site has men who kill, innocent people, but are not Muslims.
I don't think that they are much different to gangs who kill over territory or loyalty to their gangs.
Just men behaving badly, yet again.
