CarlK,
Thank you very much for the update! Do you know of anyone else Susan has been ruled out against?
Anyone with information on Swedell’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at 651-430-7850.
A $25,000 reward is offered for information which leads to the discovery of her whereabouts.
She is described as naive for her age and very trusting of people.
In the fall of 2006, police told Susan Swedell's mother Kathy Swedell that there had been activity linked to her daughter's social security number.
"Not having closure is probably a family's worst nightmare," Kathy Swedell said.
Swedell has been living her nightmare for 27 years.
"There hasn't been a day in 27 years I haven't thought about my daughter, wondering where she is or if I will see her again," she said.
Here is a link to a UID found in NY on Feb. 14, 1988. Very close in height, weight, eye color, hair. I did not want to post the photo as I don't know how to do a graphic warning. This UID was created in Namus on May 3rd and modified on May 15th. Dentals have not been entered yet.

Susan won't be on the rule out list since both she and Westchester County Jane Doe both have profiles in CODIS.
They only list manual comparisons, not automatic ones.
Also wondering, how do you know if a missing person is in CODIS or not?
In NamUs, if it states "Sample submitted - Tests complete" under the DNA tab, it's in CODIS
