WI - Jared P. Dion, 21, La Crosse, April 2004
The body of a University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student who had been missing since Saturday was found Thursday in the Mississippi River, police said.
Lt. Bob Berndt said authorities had confirmed that the body was that of Jared P. Dion, 21.
The body was recovered about 7:50 a.m. by members of the La Crosse Area Dive & Rescue Team in the south end of the Riverside Park levy, Police Chief Edward Kondracki said.
