FL-Remains found in Ocala National Forest
MARION COUNTY, Fla. -- Scattered human body parts found at a camp site in the Ocala National Forest have prompted an investigation into whether a bear or wildlife attacked the person near a tent.
A passer-by discovered the remains near the intersection of state Road 19 and Forest Road 77 near the Marion-Putnam County line.
A skull and a leg with a boot were found along with a Florida driver's license and money at the site, officials told the Ocala Star Banner.

At least it's an adult. I thought of Trenton Duckett (sp) at first.

"A skull and a leg with a boot were found along with a Florida driver's license and money at the site,"
I'm guessing this person won't be classified as an Unidentified person.

Yes, a driver's license with the body always helps!
Hopefully they can match DNA and prove this is who the license indicates it is and let one family have a little peace. How sad.

Identity released:
The Marion County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a camper whose remains were found in the Ocala National Forest.
The Sheriff's Office was notified after area residents came across the skull of David Leon Stiltner, who was 49 when he died. Cpt. James Pogue, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Office, said that Stiltner's body had decomposed significantly, and that his bones appeared to have been scattered by animals.
Pogue said that Stiltner's remains were found near his 1997 maroon Ford Ranger, and that clothing and canned food found in the car suggest that Stiltner was living out of the vehicle for months. He was last seen on Jan. 28 at the Rodman Dam, where he purchased a $3.00 shower pass.
