CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) - Police say they believe skeletal remains dug up from a shed in Cambridge may not be from a human as initially thought.
Police spokesman Frank Pasquarello on Friday said preliminary investigations showed the bones are from an animal.
Detectives are now waiting for official word from forensic experts.

In this quote the contractor says there were no bones immediately recognizable as human, such as a skull.

Century-old bones and an antique gun were discovered in this shed of a Cambridge home last Thursday.
