The San Mateo Sheriff's office is also investigating Menlo Park Dr. Roger Levin, who was arrested over ten years ago for child *advertiser censored* and molestation and possession of illegal substances. He only got a work furlough and never went to prison.

Is Ayres? Perhaps if they raid Levin's home and computer they might find some ties to Ayres.

I would like to think, given what we and LE know, that Ayres web-surfing would be under some sort of surveillance. Maybe I'm far too naive, however.

In our case, the SW was executed a full 6 weeks after the rapist's arrest, even though almost all of our children gave details of photography and a photo book. It was quite clear that the teen's room had been cleaned by the time the search took place. They still found a lot of *advertiser censored* (which was used at trial) but no photos of our children.

Mercyneal--Are you certain about your link above? That links me to the redbook pages. Most cities have them. That's where "escorts" and prostitutes are advertised. Our daughter occasionally shows up in those ads. Do they have private forums for which you need to be a member?
The FBI agent who worked with us taught me some tricks to accessing private pages. I'll see what I can remember.

I have one question about the redbook link - What ARE they talking about? Am I just dense and missing it? Isn't redbook a magazine?
Www.redbook.com is a website for prostitutes and johns. They have it for different cities all over the country. The one for the San Francisco Bay Area is www.sfredbook.com.

The sons are grown men now, and he was investigated for molesting them years ago. Word came down that he may have molested the young sons of some prostitutes he frequented
In August, 2006, people on sfredbook discovered that Levin was a convicted felon and they got him kicked off the disgusting "Underground" section of the site.
But Levin still posts as "Marcus Welby" in the medical section there.
Recently, women have gone to the Sheriff's to complain that Levin was taking pictures of them out in public. He just goes up to them in stores and starts taking pictures. He's a voyeur, too.
Since 2006, a number of victims have come forward to the Sheriffs office about Levin but alas, they are all out of statute.

You just don't get much slimier than Levin gets. The way he's blackmailing prostitutes just floors me. As if they don't have enough to worry about. In case anyone wonders what some of the acronyms stand for, they are easy to find on Urban Dictionary. It sounds like Levin has made no friends by insisting on BB--sex without condoms. If he doesn't get what he wants, he posts negative reviews. Great guy. One wonders what Levin's sons are saying now. He strikes me as being pompous and smug and acts as if he is shielded from prosecution. Why would that be?
Just so everyone knows, there are many versions of myredbook and zillions of links and dark little corners. It's not an intuitive site. It's not supposed to be. This is one of those sites that most likely skate under the wire from surveillance and yet still offer secret opportunities for those in the know. I have no doubt that there are numerous portals to other sites.
I have to say that I was just appalled to read a health post which seriously discussed a five year old girls' dysphasia--a disorder involving a serious gagging reflex. No doubt it was Levin who weighed in with some "help".
And if anyone thinks that this site needs to be reported, think again. It was an FBI agent out of the Sacramento office who directed me to the site two years ago and helped me learn to search it without logging on. That's one of the last things I do before going to bed at night....look for my daughter. Sad to think that most 13 year olds can do the same.

Mercyneal--I just re-read your post again and must share something that is heartwrenchingly common. Many, many prostitutes' children are sexually abused. The daughter we are looking for was found in a filthy motel room with her baby brother. He had TB and both had been horribly neglected. She was four and her brother was two when they were taken into care. Their mother didn't even go looking for them for over a week. Two babies just left alone. This same woman went on to have at least two more children.
What happens to the prostitutes is horrid but what happens to their children in unforgivable. I have no doubt in my mind that some of these professionals we've discussed access children through the adult sex trafficking network.

I stayed up far too late last night reading page after page about Levin. One comment I must make is that the community is on this guy's tail? I cannot say that about some of our local pedophiles. I found an amazing amount of information about Levin and Ayres on so many sites. Nothing that hasn't been linked to here but really very informative. If you were a prostitute or a pimp in the Bay Area, you'd have to have blinders on to miss this guy. For those interested in the breadth of these guys' depravity, I highly suggest spending an hour reading some of these links.

With such a well known name, I'm actually surprised that they would give access to their customers' computers to a known pedophile and child *advertiser censored* trader and producer. He's doing time currently at Snake River but what would happen if more victims came forward? Just wondering. I might have a new goal in life.
