Also, is it normal for a Metro Bus Driver to just let a 12 year old girl get on and then drop her off in an high drug and crime area?
Sadly, 12 year olds (and 73 year olds and 6 year olds) LIVE in high crime and drug areas. Let's not bash a bus driver who was just doing his job, driving the bus, taking people where they want/need to go.

Now friends are posting fliers, hoping someone knows something about the missing girl. Fliers were also handed out in the neighborhood just off Bellfort and Herschelwood just south of Loop 610. It's where Johnson and others believe her daughter ended up. It's about 30 minutes away by car from Johnson's north Houston home.

Still trying to figure out where her home is in north houston

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!
That would put it at 27.3 miles (roughly 37 min of travel time driving.) Does that sound about right?

I just don't understand them letting a 12 year old ride alone and get off there...some 27 miles from where she got on. I know in our area of North Texas the bus drivers will not do that without some sort of adult supervision.

Ok, peeples- in terms of a bus route- it would likely be the #73 Bellfort. That goes West toward Galleria and as far as Houston Hobby (the airport.) Main stop- lots of exchanges- is TX Medical Center. There are a lot of possibilities going on here mapwise. But flyers should be up at all of those stops ASAP.

Such a beautiful girl!!!

This T guy could be a teenager, and still be a predator. I hope LE has tried to find him.

Prayers that she will be found safe. Girls this age are so vulnerable... they trust too easily, and sometimes ignore warnings.

Alantria's pic & tip lines were just on NG's "America's Missing" show - I wish they could have said more about her.

Oh no. I hope she returns home soon.
Do we have a map so we can get an idea of the area (I am inept at such things).

I am confused if it was online or via phone. Did it start on an online chat and than via phone with a message being left and over heard?

I am very happy this child was found safe.

I also have massive concerns about this child. IMO, sex talk on a phone chat is grossly inappropriate for a 12-year-old girl to be doing. Throw in hopping on a bus to meet some boys and being gone for days and days, and IMO, this child needs a major intervention, and I hope to God she is getting it, or, IMO, we will be reading about her again, with maybe not such a good outcome in the future.

Again, I'm doing cartwheels this child was found safe, but I am still very disturbed by this story.

I completely agree with you. Looks like this family was given a second chance with their daughter. Hopefully, in all the joy that she is safe, they will also take this opportunity to get to the bottom of her behavior.

They will definitely continue to be in my prayers!
