Phillip Garrido expected to plead Guilty

http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...0,124289.story

April 5, 2011

Accused kidnapper and rapist Phillip Garrido is expected to plead guilty to snatching an 11-year-old schoolgirl from her South Lake Tahoe area street, holding her captive for nearly two decades and fathering her two daughters, according to an attorney involved in the case.

Garrido and his wife, Nancy, face 29 charges of kidnapping and sexual assault in the 1991 abduction of Jaycee Lee Dugard, now 30. Nancy Garrido has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and her husband is to be arraigned Thursday in Placerville, Calif.

That's when he is expected to plead guilty, said Stephen Tapson, Nancy Garrido's defense attorney.

Phillip Garrido will plead guilty

http://news.findtarget.com/us/garrid...n_dugard_case/

Phillip Garrido will plead guilty Thursday to some charges in connection with the alleged kidnapping and rape of a young California girl, one of the lawyers in the case said.

Garrido and his wife, Nancy, are accused of snatching Jaycee Dugard when she was 11 and holding her captive in a compound in the city of Antioch until she was 29.

Garrido will plead guilty to all but two counts against him during a hearing in El Dorado County Thursday morning, according to Stephen Tapson, Nancy Garrido's attorney. Tapson did not specify which criminal counts Phillip Garrido plans to admit to.

Both Phillip and Nancy plead NOT Guilty

http://blogs.sacbee.com/crime/archiv...do-poised.html

In a surprise move today, Phillip Garrido entered a not guilty plea to charges that he kidnapped Jaycee Lee Dugard. His wife Nancy entered the same not guilty plea after the judge indicated there were irregularities in the grand jury process that indicted the couple in September. Stephen Tapson, Nancy Garrido's attorney, said the plan earlier this week was for Phillip Garrido to plead guilty but that a last minute hitch over the manner in which the grand jury selection was handled prompted the decision to plead not guilty. Okay, somebody please tell me how he can plead NOT GUILTY when the kidnapped girl was found living in a tent in his yard, and he fathered her two children. How could he possibly be NOT GUILTY?

Also, both Phillip and Nancy confessed a couple of weeks ago.

He is guilty : and he will have room and board for life
I just hope that he wont be able to rape anyone in prison and that he gets isolated.
His dumb azz wife can sit in any part of the prison she is just a creep.

As long as JC and the girls will never have to see them.

But that SOB is pleading, knowing fully well he has no chance of ever getting out anyway.

I just pray that California does not decide to release any more criminals into the streets

Trust me: Having sat within a few feet of this POS, he couldn't rape anyone one in prison. He is such a wimp that the rest of his life is going to be spent being the rapee, not the rapist. There is a small amount of justice still left in this world...
