Conte was last seen on May 21, 2010 in Caledon and some of his remains were later found in the District of Muskoka and the County of Simcoe.
Police say homicide detectives will also announce a significant development aimed at solving the grisly crime.
I wonder if this case in anyway is related to some of the other cases with a Caledon connection?

Toronto police are looking for a suspect who allegedly attacked a sex-trade worker earlier this month.
Police say the woman was attacked the evening of Friday, July 15 after meeting up with an unknown man.

Kristen Bates, 17, was last seen on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 4 p.m., in the Twelfth

of a flower on her left arm.
Police are concerned for her safety.

TORONTO, Ont. - Toronto police are asking for public assistance in locating a suspect in an alleged sexual assault.
Police allege the victim met the suspect downtown Friday night, and they eventually ended up in Scarborough, where, according to a police news release, the woman was "viciously" sexually assaulted.
Investigators say they are looking for 49-year-old Elbert Crafton Edwards in relation to the alleged assault.
He is described as black and 5'7" to 5'8" in height, weighing approximately 177 lbs. Edwards may be driving a dark blue, 2000 Saturn 4-door wagon, with licence plate number BLXD652.
Police warn Edwards is considered dangerous and should not be approached.
Police say a woman met a man downtown Friday night.
She went to an address with him when police say he "viciously" sexually assaulted her.

Police have made an arrest after a "vicious" sexual assault at the start of the weekend.
The assault happened on late Friday night when police say a woman met a man downtown. They went to a home together in the east end, near Warden Ave and Danforth Rd, where he allegedly assaulted her.
On Tuesday, police arrested 49-year-old Elbert Crafton Edwards and charged him with aggravated sexual assault, forcible confinement and failure to comply with recognizance.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Police have charged a 30-year-old Toronto man with sexually assaulting a woman he met on an online dating website.
Police say the suspect met the woman on Friday after they arranged a date on the Plenty of Fish website.
When they returned to the home of the accused, police say he attacked the woman.
Slovan Stulic has been charged with sexual assault and forcible confinement.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Saturday at 10 a.m.

Dumped without a care
The body of missing Orangeville nurse Sonia Varaschin was discovered in a field along Beech Grove Sideroad last September. Six months later, the body of a 20-year-old escort – Kera Freeland – turned up in a Heart Lake Road ditch.
Women whose lives came to tragic ends and were left on the back roads of Caledon, where extremely large land masses and darkened sideroads are prevalent in a farming community of 57,000.
Caledon, it seems, has become somewhat of a dumping ground. And people are getting away with it.

"Police fear someone is stalking and attacking Hamilton sex trade workers.
Detective Sergeant Maggie Schoen, head of the victims of crime unit, said police have put out a warning to sex workers about the bad date via the Elizabeth Fry Society.
The suspect is described as a clean looking white male in his 30s who is approximately 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 inches tall.
He has an athletic build, a muscular abdomen and a shaved head. He speaks English with no accent.
Police say the suspect wore either a blue T-shirt with white lettering or a red T-shirt with a Portuguese symbol on it and patterned shorts.
The car is described as a white four-door with a light grey interior and blue dash lights. The interior of the car with further information to contact Detective Scott Moore, of the victims of crime unit at 905-546-4614 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477."
