My guess...
When she visited her parents, it probably went something like this:
Tiffany: I'm so sorry that I left like I did, but I tried to tell you all, and I felt that everyone was siding against me instead of listening to me.
Dad: We'll continue this conversation in a moment. I'm going to call David to tell him you're here so that he can drive over.
Tiffany: I'm not here to talk to David. I'm here to talk to you. You're my PARENTS. You should care about me above all else. I thought that after all of this, maybe you'd listen to me instead of ignoring my feelings this time....
Mom: It's OK, Tiffany. You just put those silly thoughts out of your mind. This has gone on long enough.
Tiffany: *sigh* (pulls out cell phone to call Tre to come pick her up.)

Just my own opinion, but I think the family probably got together in front of the congregation and maybe also the media to say thank you to all who participated in the search, and stood by them in the time of the unknown. Something she has yet to do. If even one of his flock is missing....he looks for them. They still feel this way as she was one of them. Hopefully, it's a beginning of healing for them all.
I will be curious to see what her side of the story is if they are interviewed on Monday. If she felt her life was repressed by family, hubby, church or etc, then I say good for her to step out and find herself----it's just the way she apparently did it, if true.

I just get the feeling not much is going to be said on the Today Show, not yet it will most likely have the story and show them coming and leaving her parents house.

Yeah, I don't think we will learn much from the show tomorrow either...just that they rights to a certain video of the two of them...and then of course NG may have some breaking news bombshells about them returning as well...
If they truly are selling their side of the story to a tabloid, we won't read about it for a week or so...at which point, I would think most of us will have moved on...someone else in the country is bound to do something nuts this week...

They have, I just read a story in the Dayton paper about LE just shooting and killing a young man for beating a woman with a hammer. The guy wouldn't stop beating her.

Just wanted to pipe in that it doesn't make sense to me, like everyone is saying, that her husband (DT) either called in the missing report knowing full well that she was leaving him, or that he was somehow highly responsible for her leaving. LE scrutinizes the husband, and I'm thinking that if his story didn't check out rock solid they would be talking about charges for him too at this point.
I don't think her family knew what was going on until they saw the video...then by the time her mom said "this has gone on long enough", they probably heard what TH's wife said or as someone else suggested, maybe even talked to her, and they knew for sure at that point that she was gone by her own will.
Still though, that took place BEFORE the FBI got involved...so if that's the case...if the family really was made aware before that that chances were high she was gone willingly, I wonder who (Xenia PD?) made the call to involve the FBI. THAT would equal poor judgement, kicking in a nationwide search for someone who was known even by LE at the time to more than likely be off doing their own thing. In that case, it would be difficult to fully prosecute Tiffany. What a court case this will be.
FTR, and as a Christian who used to attend a different church in Beavercreek, I don't agree with or approve of they way PPC handled today's service. A simple letter to the congregation, thanking them for their help, support and prayers, read off by the pastor, would have been entirely sufficient. I really see no good purpose in staging a slideshow like that. They should have asked themselves, "is this action furthering the gospel? in line with the Bible? pleasing to God?" and I'm pretty sure that such a show doesn't fit in with that.

Some questions regarding why this thread has remained open.
Some questions have come in regarding why this thread has remained open even though Tiffany has been located. If one reads the description of the title of this forum it is missing/LOCATED discussion. Threads do not automatically get locked once a person is located.
There is nothing wrong with people expressing their opinion or concern over the familys reaction by what happened at the church service this morning.
If members wish to continue discussion the facts as they come out, they are welcome to do so within TOS.
If this is no longer a topic of interest to members now that Tiffany has been located, there are hundreds if not thousands of other threads here at WS which may be of interest to you. Please check those out. As long as there is still news regarding Tiffany's case it will be left open for the located discussion as the forum title indicates.
Please pm me or any of the mods assigned to this forum with questions.

LE hasn't come out and stated they are 100% certain the husband was not aware his wife told him she was leaving have they? I don't recall reading that in any of the news links.
I'd like to see what Tiffany has to say if anything, and I would like to see what further developments unfold as LE continues their investigation into the case. I don't think anyone is bashing so to speak, but rather expressing thoughts regarding actions and reactions of the family.

In fact it was only yesterday that LE indicated they were looking at possible charges v. tiffany and/or members of her family, IIRC...which led to some of the speculation here....

I am pretty sure that a DDN article said the case was not closed yet and wouldn't be for a couple of weeks, but I don't know which article that was or if it's still available.
And yeah, there are a lot of unanswered questions still, I just think that there would have been a stronger indication in the media if they were pursuing DT as strongly as some comments have mentioned here. What the PP mentioned about LE considering if they could press charges on TT or anyone in her family, that's been the only media mention of it I've found. Just thinking, IMO, that while there may have been reasons within the marriage why TT left, I personally don't believe that DT called in the missing report with knowledge that she was leaving.

Missing woman's story on GMA...? Who is she?
Hi guys
I'm not sure where to put this, but i watched a news story on GMA the other day, but i don't think i see her on here. I usually have trouble finding things on here, so it might be just me.
It had her husband and baby on it and some other relatives i think that they were interviewing.
I think her name might have been Tiffani or something but i could be totally off.
Anyway they have sightings of her at some convienent store w/ some other man who is also missing.
Has anyone heard or seen this story? And is it here on websleuths at all?

It sounds like you may be talking about Tiffany Tehan. If so, that was a story from last year. She was found safely in Florida with the man she had been seen at the convenience store with if I recall correctly.

I think you mean Tiffany Tehan and it must have been a repeat of an episode...she ran off with another man last April...leaving husband and baby behind...
