What would cause her not to be able to run anymore? Exhaustion and begging didn't suffice - only when she died.... at that point, was grandma satisfied. Death, therefore, would seem the outcome she was looking for, IMO.
I agree with the others who don't want to see another ignorant jury acquit because the charges were not proved.
