MAYFIELD, Ky. -- A western Kentucky sheriff says there is reason to believe a missing high school freshman got into a car with a man she met on the Internet.

So sad, as the missing person cases always are. I live about 30 minutes from Mayfield and have a son the same age. I hope she found safe and soon.

Earlier reports indicated she may have left the school with a man from Florida she met on Facebook. This report says she is believed to be with a man from California (TSM) who has outstanding felony warrants. The sheriff confirms the two had an online relationship and believes they have crossed state lines. TSM "has outstanding felony warrants in California on charges of "crimes against persons" and threats to commit a crime of violence"."



So, its good news they have a solid lead. I hope she is found soon!

GRAVES COUNTY, Ky.--Graves County, Kentucky Sheriff Dewayne Redmon says 14-year-old missing Mayfield teen Sidney Brooke Williamson has been located and taken into protective custody and an arrest made in the disappearance case in Shreveport, Louisiana.
