Update — Regarding the identity of the human remains found in Fannin County in mid December, Texas Ranger Brad Oliver said Friday that he took a new package of evidence to the forensics lab in Fort Worth which is attempting to find out who it was that they found. Oliver said that it’s still uncertain when the lab will be able to positively identify the body, and could not provide any fresh information.

I know that the remains have been identified but I wanted to add info about Jack Morris. There was a missing person facebook post by our local news about a month ago. I saw a woman posted her ex's (Jack) missing person flyer to get his picture out. I sent her a private message before the person was identified on this thread ( I recognized his name from seeing it here) and she recently got back to me. She said that Jack has a long rod and screws in his left leg so he would probably be easy to rule out or identified.
