I like to visit Marc Victor's fb. He has a lot of info about Elizabeth's case from the defense perspective. He also has a few new friends who have, over the years, tried to insert themselves in this case in any way possible, mainly by trashing the McQueary family, and then glomming onto Tammi Smith. Now they've moved over to Elizabeth. My guess is that somebody didn't get chosen as one of the 12 Apostles.
Anyway, I just checked in and found that Mr. Victor has decided to run for the US Senate this fall as a Libertarian.

I suspect that the motion to exclude text messages... has to do with Marc Victor trying to get the texts from EJ to Logan saying she killed Gabriel out of her trial.
I know in the one interview of him I saw, he said he was going to try to keep everything that occurred once she left AZ out of the trial.

I truly hope this gets denied. What would be the legal basis for any judge to allow this?

Well, my understanding is that EJ's atty is trying to say that anything that happened in TX should be tried in TX; I believe that AZ prosecutors are trying to say that what happened in TX is a continuation of the crimes that began in AZ, so everything is fair game.
